Look I feel like I need to get this off my chest.

I may be lonely, but I'm single by choice. I don't want a relationship right now. I can't handle one on top of the rest of my life. I'm young and I can well afford to wait a few months or even a year, etc. No, you won't be the one to change my mind. And that's because its nothing personal against you. Also, there's nothing really you can do to change my mind. And, what's more, if you try to change my mind for me, I'll resent you for not knowing when to respect me. I can't handle anyone that close to me right now. Trust me that when I'm ready to start dating again, I'll be the one making the moves.

Now, making friends is fine. Great even. But don't friend me just because you hope you might get something more. It's not going to happen. And even when I start dating again, I'm much more likely to go for someone in person. That's just the way it is.

Also, I won't meet you in real life unless I trust you. And trust is slow to be earned and hard to come by. So meeting anyone would be rare. Don't count on it, it only makes you seem suspicious or desperate.

I've been looking for hours, trying to find some music that suits the mood I'm in. It's just one of those moods where only a certain kind of "sound" of music works for you. And of course, as soon as I go to post this, I finally stumble on an artist who hits the spot. Which is ironic, cuz I was going to rant here and then finally give up. Irony. lol
